It Takes a Village!

It Takes a Village!

It Takes a Village!

Join us for Community Soul Sessions at the orchard, offered every first and third Sunday of the month from April through October, 9:00–10:00 AM. These gatherings are free and open to the public.

Hosted by Soul Child Awakenings in partnership with the Kansas City Urban Farm Co-op, these sessions are a space for the community to come together, connect, and grow. Each gathering will be a little different. Some Sundays may include guided meditation, sound healing, yoga, or gentle movement, while others may focus on open community conversations and reflection. We'll be sharing updates on our social media pages with details about what to expect for each month's Soul Sessions.

Community Soul Sessions are designed to bring people together in nature—to breathe, share, listen, and strengthen our sense of connection with one another.

After each session, participants are invited to stay for our orchard volunteer day, where you can learn about urban farming, help care for fruit trees, get some exercise in, and spend more time connecting with the land and community.
